Building Mobile Solutions That Actually Work

We started WebUnionOrg in 2019 because we kept seeing the same problem. Businesses would invest in mobile apps that looked nice but didn't solve real problems.

Our Approach Has Always Been Different

Most development shops want to build what's easy or trendy. We focus on what's necessary. Before writing a single line of code, we spend time understanding how your team actually works and where the friction points are.

Take our project with a logistics company in Vientiane last year. They wanted a tracking app with all the bells and whistles. But after observing their drivers for a week, we realized the real issue was spotty connectivity in rural areas. So we built offline-first architecture instead of flashy features.

That's the kind of work that matters to us. Solutions that fit reality, not marketing brochures.

What Guides Our Work

These aren't aspirational values we put on a wall. They're the principles that shape every decision we make when building your mobile solution.

Honest Assessment First

We'll tell you if a mobile app isn't the right answer. Sometimes a web solution or even process changes work better. Our job is to solve problems, not sell unnecessary development.

Built for Your Context

Operating in Laos means dealing with specific infrastructure challenges. We design with bandwidth limitations, device fragmentation, and local payment systems in mind from day one.

Real-World Testing

We test on actual devices your users have, not just the latest flagship phones. And we test in conditions that mirror reality, including poor connectivity and low battery scenarios.

Clear Communication

No technical jargon when plain language works better. You'll always know what we're building, why we're making specific choices, and what trade-offs we're considering.

Sustainable Development

We build apps that your team can maintain and extend. That means clean code, thorough documentation, and knowledge transfer that actually prepares you for long-term ownership.

Measurable Outcomes

We define success metrics before starting development. Then we track them throughout the project and after launch. Data should guide decisions, not assumptions.

Small Team, Deep Expertise

We're intentionally small. Seven developers, two project managers, and one designer. This size lets us stay involved in every project without bureaucracy getting in the way.

Everyone on our team has at least five years of mobile development experience. More importantly, we've all worked on projects that failed and learned from them. Those lessons inform how we approach new challenges.

Working With Local Businesses

About 60% of our clients are Laotian companies. We understand the specific needs of businesses operating here, from integrating with local banking systems to designing interfaces that work well in both Lao and English contexts.
